The article related how judge could act to the action of Tom in the movie and tell us how could me learn from the movie. The article analyze the  plot of the movie and help to tell how to always consider rationality first. Therefore God Father is not only a violence movie but also has its significance towards education. How the lesson could be learned from God Father may be its meaning and the reason  that it could stay for so long and people still like it and learn from it.

I want to use this article for a proof of God Father’s importance and how it is a great movie but also beyond a movie. The significance of the movie theme is the soul of the movie. God Father could last so long because it is not only the movie. It has its significance in other part and it could be useful in the real society.

The article deny that The God Father should be listed as gangster movie but propose that the rise of Don Corleone is likely the rise of American in new land.  It compared God Father with other gangster movies to show how God father could be different.  God Father also show the aspect of humanity in some way such as Don Vito’s family role. God Father also addressed the aspects of ethnicity in 1960s society.

I plan to use this article to related God father to the view ethnicity in 1960s and today. God Father could still be popular today because American culture is mixture of each countries’ cultures at very beginning. Also the father’s role for Don Vito gives the film the other way of thinking instead of only considering its relationship towards politics and American culture.

The article linked Godfather with American dreams and social turmoil in 1970s. It gives the social context of the creation of God father and linked God father’s popularity with the new age movement. The article addressed different aspects about the film include America and Italy, catholic religion and human traits. The godfather previewed the multi-cultures in America.

This article could be a great support for the cultural context in God Father. The God father foretell the future so it is never out of time. The article provided me the situation of society when the film created. It also set an example for me to understand how to link the American dream which is a still hot topic to the plots of Godfather. The God Father carries the spirit of the time to present by provide the same topic with different views in today and 1970s.

This article related Godfather to primitive accumulation and propose that God father reveals the problems of the American politics. As the author mentioned, capitalist try to clearly divide law and criminality but the line is not very clear. (10) God father could be a movie which denounce American politics and reveal the problem of capitalism. It also address some common topics about ethnicity and American dream.

The article provides very detail information about how God father related to American politics therefore I could use the evidence that author provided to prove God father reveals people’s doubts and disappointing about American government. The article also have very good analysis about the scenes in the whole movie from its beginning that Don Vito’s daughter got marry and their Italian family culture which had been affected by American culture.

The book talked about the relationship between God father and his creator” Francis Ford Coppola”.It tell the process of  creating the movie God father. It also provide the academic value of God father such as God father provided really precise observation of Italian mafia culture(65,81). However, god father is carefully placed in traditional Italian style since its target is Americans. While we can not deny God father’s meaning to gangster movie. (82)(30)

The book is very abroad and provide the process of  creating movie. The process could be very useful for me since it is a how the movie was originally decided to be made. It also provided the achievement that God father got when it was published therefore we could see it is very popular in its generation.  The book also mentioned how the movie is different from the original book which helps me understand the plot more.

The book mentioned godfather could be a challenge for our moral understanding and also is an art of power . (26,33)It tells how godfather could be related to “this family”. (35) It is a black humor about American dream’s relationship between business and family. (39)It also mentioned the relationship between American and Don Vito. (41,43) It contains writer’s view about the creation of God father.

This book gives what God father’s original author Mario Puzo want to demonstrate in his book. It also provides very detail analysis between the themes that Godfather depicts. It will be a good resource for me to prove how American create the god father. It also provide me other people’s idea about Godfather The book also gives valuable research on God father’s author Mario Puzo(c2) therefore I could relate his object of writing this book to people’s reflection about it.

“Silver lining book”

The film tells a story main character Pat who got the mental illness met a girl called  Tiffany. He and Tiffany got together and made a deal. If Pat helped Tiffany with dance competition, Tiffany will help Pat communicate with his former wife. Finally, Pat fall in love with Tiffany and get normal. The main story is surrounded by family and love. It also talked about how social strength and misfortune could harm a person. It is my first time to see the movie but I am really touched by it. It make me think about who is really mad or normal in the world and how we divide them? Everybody in the movie seems to be really stressful at some time. They are helpless and sad. But who suffer from the most sadness is Pat and Tiffany since they both lose their loved. Life could be tough but there are also hopes. It is a story how to let old love go and accept a new life. The scene that I feel most significant is that Tiffany talked to Pat about how her old husband died. Tiffany seems to tried her best to let Pat stay. It is so pain to talk about the sad thing in the heart. Thinking about the sadness in the past make it more painful. However, Tiffany got through it and she is such stronger woman.  The movie helped me think about how the importance themes of the time and the movie could be related. As we see in the movie, family role played a big part of movie. While in this time, we valued the power of love and get family together. 

About” who made the film and why”

I know film is actually a way of promotion but I was surprised politics use the film to promote their position and express their culture, too. I was thinking if The God Father could be so popular during that time is that because the God Father corresponds to the time tends in 60s. As the article mentioned, the film is to make money so what made the director believe the God Father could make money？The amazing thing about the God Father is it is still popular today and many people said it is the movie that a boy must watch after he is old enough. Therefore, it is hard to make sure if the audience today have a same attitude toward the God Father with people in 60s. Therefore what is God Father’s zeitgeist today is also a question to consider. 

“The Godfather” for Inquiry two

 When I saw The Godfather is the 1972’s best picture winner, I was so surprised. The Godfather is one of my favorite movie however I am wondering how a movie which contains bloody scenes and the darkness of human’s mind could be elected to be the best picture winner.  I am so curious about it so I decide to work on this movie and find out the answer by myself. By the way, I love The Godfather so much.

Inspiration for the review of Inquiry 1

I will continue working on my analysis to make it deeper and plump. As suggested, my essay may lack of my own opinions. I will work on my connection between my thesis and prove too.

I will try put the first paragraph as an introduction and then set each of my bullet point as a paragraph and mix up the sequence of the time of the movie.
